2 Chronicles 13:3-5
New English Translation
3 Abijah launched the attack with 400,000 well-trained warriors,[a] while Jeroboam deployed against him 800,000 well-trained warriors.[b]
4 Abijah ascended Mount Zemaraim, in the Ephraimite hill country, and said: “Listen to me, Jeroboam and all Israel! 5 Don’t you realize that the Lord God of Israel has given David and his dynasty lasting dominion over Israel by a formal covenant?[c]

New International Version
3 Abijah went into battle with an army of four hundred thousand able fighting men, and Jeroboam drew up a battle line against him with eight hundred thousand able troops.
4 Abijah stood on Mount Zemaraim,(A) in the hill country of Ephraim, and said, “Jeroboam and all Israel,(B) listen to me! 5 Don’t you know that the Lord, the God of Israel, has given the kingship of Israel to David and his descendants forever(C) by a covenant of salt?(D)
