4 But the ark of God had David brought up from Kiriath-jearim to the place that David had prepared for it; for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem. 5 Moreover the brazen altar, that Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made, [a]was there before the tabernacle of Jehovah: and Solomon and the assembly sought unto it. 6 And Solomon [b]went up thither to the brazen altar before Jehovah, which was at the tent of meeting, and offered a thousand burnt-offerings upon it.

4 Now David had brought up the ark(A) of God from Kiriath Jearim to the place he had prepared for it, because he had pitched a tent(B) for it in Jerusalem. 5 But the bronze altar(C) that Bezalel(D) son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made was in Gibeon in front of the tabernacle of the Lord; so Solomon and the assembly inquired(E) of him there. 6 Solomon went up to the bronze altar before the Lord in the tent of meeting and offered a thousand burnt offerings on it.
