11 God answered Solomon, “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked (A)possessions, wealth, honour, or the life of those who hate you, and have not even asked long life, but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself that you may govern my people over whom I have made you king, 12 wisdom and knowledge are granted to you. I will also give you (B)riches, possessions, and honour, (C)such as none of the kings had who were before you, and none after you shall have the like.” 13 So Solomon came from[a] the (D)high place at Gibeon, from before (E)the tent of meeting, to Jerusalem. And he reigned over Israel.

11 God said to Solomon, “Since this is your heart’s desire and you have not asked for wealth,(A) possessions or honor, nor for the death of your enemies, and since you have not asked for a long life but for wisdom and knowledge to govern my people over whom I have made you king, 12 therefore wisdom and knowledge will be given you. And I will also give you wealth, possessions and honor,(B) such as no king who was before you ever had and none after you will have.(C)”
13 Then Solomon went to Jerusalem from the high place at Gibeon, from before the tent of meeting. And he reigned over Israel.
