Solomon’s Request for Wisdom

1 Solomon son of David strengthened his hold on his kingdom.^(A) The Lord his God was with him and highly exalted him.^(B)

⁴⁹ So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will go out, separate the evil people from the righteous,^(A)

¹⁹ While he was sitting on the judge’s bench, his wife sent word to him, “Have nothing to do with that righteous man, for today I’ve suffered terribly in a dream because of him.”^(A)

²⁰ But he said to them, “It is I.^[a](A) Don’t be afraid.”
