माटी के बरतन म धन
4 एकरसेति, जब हमन ला परमेसर के दया ले ओकर सेवा के काम मिले हवय, त हमन हिम्मत नइं हारन। 2 हमन गुपत अऊ लज्जा के काममन ला छोंड़ दे हवन; हमन ठगी नइं करन अऊ न ही परमेसर के बचन ला तोड़-मरोड़ के बतावन। एकर उल्टा सच्चई ला साफ-साफ बताय के दुवारा, हमन अपन-आप ला परमेसर के आघू म हर मनखे के बिवेक के ऊपर छोंड़ देथन। 3 अऊ यदि मनखेमन के दिमाग म परदा पड़े हवय, जब हमन सुघर संदेस सुनाथन, त ए परदा ह सिरिप ओमन के ऊपर हवय, जऊन मन नास होवत हवंय। 4 ए जुग के देवता (सैतान) ह अबिसवासीमन के बुद्धि ला अंधरा कर दे हवय; ताकि ओमन परमेसर के रूप याने मसीह के अंजोर ला झन देख सकंय, अऊ ए अंजोर ह मसीह के महिमा के सुघर संदेस ले आथे। 5 हमन अपन परचार नइं करन, पर ए परचार करथन कि यीसू मसीह ह परभू ए अऊ हमन यीसू के हित म तुम्हर सेवक अन। 6 काबरकि एह परमेसर ए, जऊन ह कहिस, “अंधियार म ले अंजोर हो जावय।”[a] ओहीच परमेसर ह अपन अंजोर ला हमर हिरदय म चमकाईस ताकि हमन ओकर महिमा के गियान के अंजोर ला पा सकन, जऊन ह मसीह के चेहरा म हवय।
7 पर हमर करा माटी के बरतन म ए आतमिक धन ह ए दिखाथे, कि ए महान सामरथ ह हमर नो हय, पर परमेसर के अय। 8 हमन जम्मो कोति ले दुःख तो भोगथन, पर टूटन नइं; बियाकुल तो होथन, पर निरास नइं होवन। 9 हमन सताय तो जाथन, पर तियागे नइं जावन; मार तो खाथन, पर नास नइं होवन। 10 हमन हमेसा अपन देहें म यीसू के मिरतू ला अनुभव करथन, ताकि यीसू के जिनगी घलो हमर देहें म दिखय। 11 हमर जीयत म, हमन हमेसा यीसू खातिर मिरतू के खतरा म रहिथन, ताकि ओकर जिनगी ह हमर नासमान सरीर म दिखय। 12 ए किसम ले, मिरतू ह हमन म काम करत हवय, पर जिनगी ह तुमन म काम करत हवय।
13 परमेसर के बचन म ए लिखे हवय, “मेंह बिसवास करेंव; एकरसेति मेंह गोठियाएंव।” बिसवास के ओहीच आतमा के संग हमन घलो बिसवास करथन अऊ एकरसेति हमन गोठियाथन। 14 हमन जानथन कि परमेसर जऊन ह परभू यीसू ला मरे म ले जियाईस; ओह हमन ला घलो यीसू के संग जियाही अऊ तुम्हर संग हमन ला अपन आघू म लानही। 15 ए जम्मो ह तुम्हर फायदा बर ए, ताकि जऊन अनुग्रह ह जादा से जादा मनखेमन करा पहुंचत हवय, ओ अनुग्रह के कारन मनखेमन परमेसर के महिमा बर अऊ जादा धनबाद देवंय।
16 एकरसेति, हमन हिम्मत नइं हारन। हालाकि हमर देहें ह धीरे-धीरे कमजोर होवत जावत हवय, पर आतमिक रूप ले दिन ब दिन हमन नवां होवत जावत हन। 17 काबरकि हमर ए छोटे अऊ पल भर के समस्या ह हमर बर एक अनंत महिमा लावत हवय, जऊन ह सदाकाल तक बने रहिही। 18 एकरसेति, हमन ओ चीज ऊपर धियान नइं देवन, जऊन ह दिखत हवय, पर हमन ओ चीज ऊपर धियान लगाथन, जऊन ह नइं दिखत हवय। काबरकि जऊन चीज ह दिखत हवय, ओह सिरिप कुछू समय बर अय, पर जऊन चीज ह नइं दिखय, ओह सदाकाल तक बने रहिथे।

Present Weakness and Resurrection Life
4 Therefore, since through God’s mercy(A) we have this ministry, we do not lose heart.(B) 2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways;(C) we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God.(D) On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience(E) in the sight of God. 3 And even if our gospel(F) is veiled,(G) it is veiled to those who are perishing.(H) 4 The god(I) of this age(J) has blinded(K) the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ,(L) who is the image of God.(M) 5 For what we preach is not ourselves,(N) but Jesus Christ as Lord,(O) and ourselves as your servants(P) for Jesus’ sake. 6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”[a](Q) made his light shine in our hearts(R) to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.(S)
7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay(T) to show that this all-surpassing power is from God(U) and not from us. 8 We are hard pressed on every side,(V) but not crushed; perplexed,(W) but not in despair; 9 persecuted,(X) but not abandoned;(Y) struck down, but not destroyed.(Z) 10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus,(AA) so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.(AB) 11 For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake,(AC) so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body. 12 So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.(AD)
13 It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.”[b](AE) Since we have that same spirit of[c] faith,(AF) we also believe and therefore speak, 14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead(AG) will also raise us with Jesus(AH) and present us with you to himself.(AI) 15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving(AJ) to overflow to the glory of God.
16 Therefore we do not lose heart.(AK) Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly(AL) we are being renewed(AM) day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.(AN) 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen,(AO) since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
