5 Now she that is a widow indeed and desolate, trusts in God, and is diligent in supplications and prayers night and day,
6 but she that lives in pleasure is dead while she lives.
7 Therefore command these things, that they may be blameless.

5 The widow who is really in need(A) and left all alone puts her hope in God(B) and continues night and day to pray(C) and to ask God for help. 6 But the widow who lives for pleasure is dead even while she lives.(D) 7 Give the people these instructions,(E) so that no one may be open to blame.
