1 Timothy 5:18-20

¹⁸For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle the ox while he is threshing,”^[a] and, “The worker is worthy of his wage.” ^[b] ¹⁹Do not accept an accusation against an elder except on the evidence of two or three witnesses. ^[c] ²⁰Correct those who continue sinning in the presence of everyone, so that the rest also may fear.^[d]

¹⁸For Scripture says, “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,”^[a]^(A) and “The worker deserves his wages.”^[b]^(B) ¹⁹Do not entertain an accusation against an elder^(C) unless it is brought by two or three witnesses.^(D) ²⁰But those elders who are sinning you are to reprove^(E) before everyone, so that the others may take warning.^(F)
