10 And they must also be tested first; if they prove blameless, then they can serve as deacons. 11 Wives,(A) too, must be worthy of respect, not slanderers, self-controlled,(B) faithful in everything. 12 Deacons must be husbands of one wife, managing their children and their own households competently.

11 In the same way, the women[a] are to be worthy of respect, not malicious talkers(B) but temperate(C) and trustworthy in everything.

12 A deacon must be faithful to his wife(D) and must manage his children and his household well.(E)
