6 that[a] no one overstep[b] and exploit[c] his brother[d] in the matter[e]. Because the Lord is the avenger concerning all these things, just as we also told you before and solemnly-warned. 7 For God did not call us for[f] impurity, but in[g] holiness. 8 So-therefore[h] the one rejecting is not rejecting a human, but God, the One also giving His Holy Spirit to you.

6 and that in this matter no one should wrong or take advantage of a brother or sister.[a](A) The Lord will punish(B) all those who commit such sins,(C) as we told you and warned you before. 7 For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.(D) 8 Therefore, anyone who rejects this instruction does not reject a human being but God, the very God who gives you his Holy Spirit.(E)
