¹² we encouraged, comforted, and implored each one of you to walk worthy of God,^(A) who calls you into his own kingdom^(B) and glory.^(C)

¹² Now we command and exhort such people by the Lord Jesus Christ to work quietly and provide for themselves.^[a]

²⁵ not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other,^(A) and all the more as you see the day approaching.
