⁷The Lord sends poverty and wealth;^(A)
he humbles and he exalts.^(B)

⁷The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.

⁷He ^(A)raises the poor from the dust
and lifts the needy from the ash heap,

⁷He raises the poor^(A) from the dust
and lifts the needy^(B) from the ash heap;

⁷He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
