1 Samuel 2:20-22

20 Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife, and say, “May the Lord give you offspring[a] from this woman in place of the son she asked for, whom she loaned to the Lord.” Then they would go back to their home. 21 The Lord came to Hannah with his blessing,[b] and she conceived and gave birth to three sons and two daughters. The child Samuel grew up in the presence of the Lord.
22 Now Eli was very old. He heard about everything that his sons were doing to all Israel and how they were sleeping with the women who served at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.

New International Version
20 Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife, saying, “May the Lord give you children by this woman to take the place of the one she prayed(A) for and gave to[a] the Lord.” Then they would go home. 21 And the Lord was gracious to Hannah;(B) she gave birth to three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile, the boy Samuel grew(C) up in the presence of the Lord.
22 Now Eli, who was very old, heard about everything(D) his sons were doing to all Israel and how they slept with the women(E) who served at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
