26 David a zis oamenilor de lângă el: „Ce se va face aceluia care va omorî pe filisteanul acesta şi va lua ocara(A) de asupra lui Israel? – Ce i se va face celui care-l va ucide pe acest filistean şi va ridica astfel batjocura de peste Israel? Cine este acest filistean, acest necircumcis, ca să batjocorească oştirile Dumnezeului celui Viu?
27 Ei i-au repetat ceea ce spuseseră înainte, zicând: „Astfel i se va face celui care-l va ucide.“

26 David asked the men standing near him, “What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and removes this disgrace(A) from Israel? Who is this uncircumcised(B) Philistine that he should defy(C) the armies of the living(D) God?”
27 They repeated to him what they had been saying and told him, “This is what will be done for the man who kills him.”
