6 Jonathan said to the young man who carried his armour, ‘Come, let us go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised; it may be that the Lord will act for us; for nothing can hinder the Lord from saving by many or by few.’ 7 His armour-bearer said to him, ‘Do all that your mind inclines to.[a] I am with you; as your mind is, so is mine.’[b] 8 Then Jonathan said, ‘Now we will cross over to those men and will show ourselves to them.

6 Jonathan said to his young armor-bearer, “Come, let’s go over to the outpost of those uncircumcised(A) men. Perhaps the Lord will act in our behalf. Nothing(B) can hinder the Lord from saving, whether by many(C) or by few.(D)”
7 “Do all that you have in mind,” his armor-bearer said. “Go ahead; I am with you heart and soul.”
8 Jonathan said, “Come on, then; we will cross over toward them and let them see us.
