6 So Jonathan said to his armor bearer,[a] “Come, let us go over to the garrisons of these uncircumcised; perhaps Yahweh will act for us, for there is no hindrance for Yahweh to save by many or by few.” 7 And his armor bearer[b] said, “Do all that is in your heart that you are inclined to do.[c] I am with you all of the way![d] 8 Then Jonathan said, “Look, we are about to go over to the men; and we will show ourselves to them.

6 Jonathan said to his young armor-bearer, “Come, let’s go over to the outpost of those uncircumcised(A) men. Perhaps the Lord will act in our behalf. Nothing(B) can hinder the Lord from saving, whether by many(C) or by few.(D)”
7 “Do all that you have in mind,” his armor-bearer said. “Go ahead; I am with you heart and soul.”
8 Jonathan said, “Come on, then; we will cross over toward them and let them see us.
