⁶ Then Jonathan said to the young man who was carrying his armor, “Come and let us cross over to the garrison of ^(A)these uncircumcised; perhaps Yahweh will work for us, for ^(B)Yahweh is not restrained to save by many or by few.”

¹¹ Then Asa ^(A)called to Yahweh his God and said, “Yahweh, there is no one besides You to help in the battle between those of abundant power and those who have no power; so help us, O Yahweh our God, ^(B)for we lean on You, and in Your name have come against this multitude. O Yahweh, You are our God; let not mortal man prevail against You.”

¹⁵ and he said, “Pay attention, all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: thus says Yahweh to you, ‘^(A)Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for ^(B)the battle is not yours but God’s.

⁷ But I will have ^(A)compassion on the house of Judah and ^(B)save them by Yahweh their God, and I will not save them by ^(C)bow, sword, battle, horses, or horsemen.”

⁶ Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, “This is the word of Yahweh to ^(A)Zerubbabel, saying, ‘^(B)Not by ^[a]might nor by power, but by My ^(C)Spirit,’ says Yahweh of hosts.
