6 Samuel said to the people, “The Lord is witness, who[a] appointed Moses and Aaron and brought your ancestors up out of the land of Egypt. 7 Now therefore take your stand, so that I may enter into judgment with you before the Lord, and I will declare to you[b] all the saving deeds of the Lord that he performed for you and for your ancestors. 8 When Jacob went into Egypt and the Egyptians oppressed them,[c] then your ancestors cried to the Lord and the Lord sent Moses and Aaron, who brought forth your ancestors out of Egypt, and settled them in this place.

6 Then Samuel said to the people, “It is the Lord who appointed Moses and Aaron and brought(A) your ancestors up out of Egypt. 7 Now then, stand(B) here, because I am going to confront(C) you with evidence before the Lord as to all the righteous acts(D) performed by the Lord for you and your ancestors.
8 “After Jacob(E) entered Egypt, they cried(F) to the Lord for help, and the Lord sent(G) Moses and Aaron, who brought your ancestors out of Egypt and settled them in this place.
