1 Samuel 10:23-25
Living Bible
23 So they found him and brought him out, and he stood head and shoulders above anyone else.
24 Then Samuel said to all the people, “This is the man the Lord has chosen as your king. There isn’t his equal in all of Israel!”
And all the people shouted, “Long live the king!”
25 Then Samuel told the people again what the rights and duties of a king were; he wrote them in a book and put it in a special place before the Lord. Then Samuel sent the people home again.

New International Version
23 They ran and brought him out, and as he stood among the people he was a head taller(A) than any of the others. 24 Samuel said to all the people, “Do you see the man the Lord has chosen?(B) There is no one like(C) him among all the people.”
Then the people shouted, “Long live(D) the king!”
25 Samuel explained(E) to the people the rights and duties(F) of kingship.(G) He wrote them down on a scroll and deposited it before the Lord. Then Samuel dismissed the people to go to their own homes.
