³nor as ^(A)being ^[a]lords over ^(B)those entrusted to you, but ^(C)being examples to the flock; ⁴and when ^(D)the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive ^(E)the crown of glory that does not fade away.

Submit to God, Resist the Devil

⁵Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, ^(F)all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for

^(G)“God resists the proud,
But ^(H)gives grace to the humble.”
