11 He has power for ever. Yes, he has!
12 Silas has written this short letter for me. I believe he is a brother who can be trusted. I have written to help you and tell you the true way to have God's blessing. Stand firm in that way!
13 The church people in the city of Babylon greet you. God has also chosen them. My son Mark also greets you.

Final Greetings
12 With the help of Silas,[a](B) whom I regard as a faithful brother, I have written to you briefly,(C) encouraging you and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand fast in it.(D)
13 She who is in Babylon, chosen together with you, sends you her greetings, and so does my son Mark.(E)
