1 Peter 4:5-7

5 But just remember that they must face the Judge of all, living and dead; they will be punished for the way they have lived. 6 That is why the Good News was preached even to those who were dead—killed by the flood[a]—so that although their bodies were punished with death, they could still live in their spirits as God lives.
7 The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore be earnest, thoughtful men of prayer.

5 But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.(A) 6 For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead,(B) so that they might be judged according to human standards in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit.
7 The end of all things is near.(C) Therefore be alert and of sober mind(D) so that you may pray.
