12 (A)by keeping your conduct excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing which they (B)slander you as evildoers, they may [a]because of your good works, as they observe them, (C)glorify God (D)in the day of [b]visitation.
Be Subject to Authority
13 (E)Be subject for the sake of the Lord to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority, 14 or to governors as sent [c]by him (F)for the punishment of evildoers and the (G)praise of those who do good.

12 Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds(A) and glorify God(B) on the day he visits us.
