52 Let thine eyes be open unto the prayer of thy servant, and unto the prayer of thy people Israel, to hearken unto them, in all that they call for unto thee.
53 For thou didst separate them to thee from among all people of the earth for an inheritance, as thou saidest by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our (A)fathers out of Egypt, O Lord God.
54 And when Solomon had made an end of praying all this [a]prayer and supplication unto the Lord, he rose from before the altar of the Lord, from kneeling on his knees, and stretching of his hands to heaven,

52 “May your eyes be open(A) to your servant’s plea and to the plea of your people Israel, and may you listen to them whenever they cry out to you.(B) 53 For you singled them out from all the nations of the world to be your own inheritance,(C) just as you declared through your servant Moses when you, Sovereign Lord, brought our ancestors out of Egypt.”
54 When Solomon had finished all these prayers and supplications to the Lord, he rose from before the altar of the Lord, where he had been kneeling with his hands spread out toward heaven.
