³⁸ when prayer or supplication is made by anyone or by all Your people Israel—each knowing the plague of his own heart—when one spreads his hands toward this House, ³⁹ then may you hear from heaven, Your dwelling place, forgive and act, and give to each man according to all his ways, as You know his heart to be.
