³⁵ “When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain^(A) because your people have sinned^(B) against you, and when they pray toward this place and give praise to your name and turn from their sin because you have afflicted them,

⁶ But who is able to build a temple for him, since the heavens, even the highest heavens, cannot contain him?^(A) Who then am I^(B) to build a temple for him, except as a place to burn sacrifices before him?
