11 The priests couldn’t do their work because of it. That’s because the glory of the Lord filled his temple.
12 Then Solomon said, “Lord, you have said you would live in a dark cloud. 13 As you can see, I’ve built a beautiful temple for you. You can live in it forever.”

11 And the priests could not perform their service(A) because of the cloud, for the glory(B) of the Lord filled his temple.
12 Then Solomon said, “The Lord has said that he would dwell in a dark cloud;(C) 13 I have indeed built a magnificent temple for you, a place for you to dwell(D) forever.”

11 So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of the Lord.
12 Then spake Solomon, The Lord said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.
13 I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever.
