1 Kings 8:11-13

11 The priests could not carry out their duties[a] because of the cloud; the Lord’s glory filled his temple.[b]
12 Then Solomon said, “The Lord has said that he lives in thick darkness. 13 O Lord,[c] truly I have built a lofty temple for you, a place where you can live permanently.”

New International Version
11 And the priests could not perform their service(A) because of the cloud, for the glory(B) of the Lord filled his temple.
12 Then Solomon said, “The Lord has said that he would dwell in a dark cloud;(C) 13 I have indeed built a magnificent temple for you, a place for you to dwell(D) forever.”
