New English Translation
13 I will live among the Israelites and will not abandon my people Israel.”
14 So Solomon finished building the temple.[a] 15 He constructed the walls inside the temple with cedar planks; he paneled the inside with wood from the floor of the temple to the rafters[b] of the ceiling. He covered the temple floor with boards made from the wood of evergreens.

13 And I will live among the Israelites and will not abandon(A) my people Israel.”
14 So Solomon(B) built the temple and completed(C) it. 15 He lined its interior walls with cedar boards, paneling them from the floor of the temple to the ceiling,(D) and covered the floor of the temple with planks of juniper.(E)
