24 For he had dominion over all the region west of the Euphrates,[a] and he had peace on all sides.(A) 25 During Solomon’s lifetime Judah and Israel lived in safety, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, all of them under their vines and fig trees.(B) 26 Solomon also had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots and twelve thousand horsemen.(C)

24 For he ruled over all the kingdoms west of the Euphrates River, from Tiphsah(A) to Gaza, and had peace(B) on all sides. 25 During Solomon’s lifetime Judah and Israel, from Dan to Beersheba,(C) lived in safety,(D) everyone under their own vine and under their own fig tree.(E)
26 Solomon had four[a] thousand stalls for chariot horses,(F) and twelve thousand horses.[b]
