Common English Bible
19 Geber, Uri’s son, in the land of Gilead, the land of the Amorite king Sihon and of King Og of Bashan;
and there was a single officer who was in the land of Judah.[a]
20 Judah and Israel grew numerous like the sand alongside the sea. They ate, drank, and celebrated.
21 [b] Solomon ruled over all the states from the Euphrates River through the Philistines’ land and as far as the border of Egypt. These areas brought tribute to Solomon and served him all the days of his life.

Solomon’s Daily Provisions
20 The people of Judah and Israel were as numerous as the sand(C) on the seashore; they ate, they drank and they were happy.(D) 21 And Solomon ruled(E) over all the kingdoms from the Euphrates River(F) to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt.(G) These countries brought tribute(H) and were Solomon’s subjects all his life.
