23 The rest of all the events of Asa’s reign,(A) along with all his might, all his accomplishments, and the cities he built, are written in the Historical Record of Judah’s Kings.(B) But in his old age he developed a disease in his feet.(C) 24 Then Asa rested with his ancestors and was buried in the city of his ancestor David.(D) His son Jehoshaphat(E) became king in his place.

25 Nadab son of Jeroboam(F) became king over Israel in the second year of Judah’s King Asa; he reigned over Israel two years.

In his old age, however, his feet became diseased. 24 Then Asa rested with his ancestors and was buried with them in the city of his father David. And Jehoshaphat(A) his son succeeded him as king.
