20 So Ben-Hadad hearkened unto king Asa, and sent the captains of the hosts, which he had, against the cities of Israel, and smote Ijon, and Dan, and Abel Beth Maachah, and all Chinneroth, with all the land of Naphtali.

21 And when Baasha heard thereof, he left building of Ramah, and dwelt in Tirzah.

22 Then king Asa [a]assembled all Judah [b]none excepted, and they took the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha had built, and king Asa built with them Geba of Benjamin and Mizpah.

20 Ben-Hadad agreed with King Asa and sent the commanders of his forces against the towns of Israel. He conquered(A) Ijon, Dan, Abel Beth Maakah and all Kinnereth in addition to Naphtali. 21 When Baasha heard this, he stopped building Ramah(B) and withdrew to Tirzah.(C) 22 Then King Asa issued an order to all Judah—no one was exempt—and they carried away from Ramah(D) the stones and timber Baasha had been using there. With them King Asa(E) built up Geba(F) in Benjamin, and also Mizpah.(G)
