New International Version

¹⁴Although he did not remove^(A) the high places, Asa’s heart was fully committed^(B) to the Lord all his life.

³Nevertheless, ^(A)the high places were not taken away; the people continued to sacrifice and make offerings on the high places.

³The high places,^(A) however, were not removed; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense there.
