28 And whenever the king entered the house of the Lord, the guards carried them, then brought them back into the guardroom.
29 (A)Now the rest of the acts of Rehoboam, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? 30 And there was (B)war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all their days.

28 Whenever the king went to the Lord’s temple, the guards bore the shields, and afterward they returned them to the guardroom.
29 As for the other events of Rehoboam’s reign, and all he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah? 30 There was continual warfare(A) between Rehoboam and Jeroboam.
