31 Then after he had buried him, he said to his sons, “When I am dead, bury me in the grave in which the man of God is buried; lay my bones beside his bones. 32 For the words which he cried out by the word of the Lord against the altar in Bethel and against all the houses of the high places which are in the cities of Samaria shall certainly come to pass.”

33 After this event, Jeroboam [still] did not turn from his evil way, but again made priests for the high places from among all the people. He ordained anyone who was willing, so that there would be priests for the high places.

31 After burying him, he said to his sons, “When I die, bury me in the grave where the man of God is buried; lay my bones(A) beside his bones. 32 For the message he declared by the word of the Lord against the altar in Bethel and against all the shrines on the high places(B) in the towns of Samaria(C) will certainly come true.”(D)

33 Even after this, Jeroboam did not change his evil ways,(E) but once more appointed priests for the high places from all sorts(F) of people. Anyone who wanted to become a priest he consecrated for the high places.
