1 Kings 12:16

New King James Version

¹⁶Now when all Israel saw that the king did not listen to them, the people answered the king, saying:

^(A)“What share have we in David?
We have no inheritance in the son of Jesse.
To your tents, O Israel!
Now, see to your own house, O David!”

So Israel departed to their tents.

¹⁶When all Israel saw that the king refused to listen to them, they answered the king:

“What share^(A) do we have in David,
what part in Jesse’s son?
To your tents, Israel!^(B)
Look after your own house, David!”

So the Israelites went home.^(C)

¹⁷But Rehoboam reigned over ^(A)the children of Israel who dwelt in the cities of Judah.

¹⁷But as for the Israelites who were living in the towns of Judah,^(A) Rehoboam still ruled over them.
