And so did he for all his outlandish wives, which burnt incense and offered unto their gods.

Therefore the Lord was angry with Solomon, because he had turned his heart from the Lord God of Israel, (A)which had appeared unto him twice,

10 And had given him a (B)charge concerning this thing, that he should not follow other gods: but he kept not that, which the Lord had commanded him.

He did the same for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and offered sacrifices to their gods.

The Lord became angry with Solomon because his heart had turned away from the Lord, the God of Israel, who had appeared(A) to him twice. 10 Although he had forbidden Solomon to follow other gods,(B) Solomon did not keep the Lord’s command.(C)
