13 Go in to King David and say to him, ‘My lord the king, did you not swear(A) to me your servant: “Surely Solomon your son shall be king after me, and he will sit on my throne”? Why then has Adonijah become king?’
1 Kings 1:30

30 I will surely carry out this very day what I swore(A) to you by the Lord, the God of Israel: Solomon your son shall be king after me, and he will sit on my throne in my place.”
1 Chronicles 22:9
New International Version
9 But you will have a son who will be a man of peace(A) and rest,(B) and I will give him rest from all his enemies on every side. His name will be Solomon,[a](C) and I will grant Israel peace and quiet(D) during his reign.
