1 John 2:8-10
International Standard Version
8 On the other hand, I am writing to you a new commandment that is truly in him and in you. For the darkness is fading away, and the true light is already shining.
9 The person who says that he is in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness. 10 The person who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no reason for him to stumble.

8 Yet I am writing you a new command;(A) its truth is seen in him and in you, because the darkness is passing(B) and the true light(C) is already shining.(D)
9 Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister[a](E) is still in the darkness.(F) 10 Anyone who loves their brother and sister[b] lives in the light,(G) and there is nothing in them to make them stumble.(H)
