1 John 2:26-28
New Testament for Everyone
26 I am writing to you about the people who are deceiving you. 27 You have received the anointing from him; it abides in you, and you do not need to have anyone teach you. That anointing from him teaches you about everything; it is true, it isn’t a lie. So, just as he taught you, abide in him.
28 And now, children, abide in him, so that when he is revealed we may have boldness and may not be put to shame before him at his royal appearing.

26 I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray.(A) 27 As for you, the anointing(B) you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things(C) and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.(D)

28 And now, dear children,(E) continue in him, so that when he appears(F) we may be confident(G) and unashamed before him at his coming.(H)
