26 So I do not run like someone who doesn’t run toward the finish line. I do not fight like a boxer who hits nothing but air. 27 No, I train my body and bring it under control. Then after I have preached to others, I myself will not break the rules. If I did break them, I would fail to win the prize.

26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly;(A) I do not fight like a boxer beating the air.(B) 27 No, I strike a blow to my body(C) and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.(D)
