1 Corinthians 8:8-10
New Life Version
8 Food will not bring us near to God. We are no worse if we do not eat it, or we are no better if we eat it. 9 Since you are free to do as you please, be careful that this does not hurt a weak Christian. 10 A Christian who is weak may see you eat food in a place where it has been given as a gift to false gods in worship. Since he sees you eat it, he will eat it also.

1 Corinthians 8:8-10
New International Version
8 But food does not bring us near to God;(A) we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do.
9 Be careful, however, that the exercise of your rights does not become a stumbling block(B) to the weak.(C) 10 For if someone with a weak conscience sees you, with all your knowledge, eating in an idol’s temple, won’t that person be emboldened to eat what is sacrificed to idols?(D)
