8 Therefore let us keep holy day – not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of immorality and wickedness, but with the sweet bread of pureness and truth.
9 I wrote to you in an epistle that you should not keep company with fornicators. 10 And I did not at all mean the fornicators of this world, or the covetous, or swindlers, or idolaters, because then you would need to go out of the world.

8 Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread(A) of sincerity and truth.
9 I wrote to you in my letter not to associate(B) with sexually immoral people— 10 not at all meaning the people of this world(C) who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world.
