2 You are proud, when you ought to feel bad enough to chase away anyone who acts like this.
3-4 I am with you only in my thoughts. But in the name of our Lord Jesus I have already judged this man, as though I were with you in person. So when you meet together and the power of the Lord Jesus is with you, I will be there too.

Shouldn’t you rather have gone into mourning(A) and have put out of your fellowship(B) the man who has been doing this? 3 For my part, even though I am not physically present, I am with you in spirit.(C) As one who is present with you in this way, I have already passed judgment in the name of our Lord Jesus(D) on the one who has been doing this. 4 So when you are assembled and I am with you in spirit, and the power of our Lord Jesus is present,
