31 and face death every day? The pride that I have in you because of Christ Jesus our Lord is what makes me say this. 32 (A) What do you think I gained by fighting wild animals in Ephesus? If the dead are not raised to life,
“Let's eat and drink.
Tomorrow we die.”
33 Don't fool yourselves. Bad friends will destroy you.

31 I face death every day(A)—yes, just as surely as I boast about you in Christ Jesus our Lord. 32 If I fought wild beasts(B) in Ephesus(C) with no more than human hopes, what have I gained? If the dead are not raised,
