20 Brothers, don’t be children in your thinking. In evil, be like infants; but in your thinking, be grown-up. 21 In the Torah it is written,

“By other tongues,
by the lips of foreigners
I will speak to this people.
But even then they will not listen to me,”
says Adonai.[a]

22 Thus tongues are a sign not for believers but for unbelievers, while prophecy is not for unbelievers but for believers.
