9 Let us not test Christ as some of them did[a] and were destroyed by snakes.(A) 10 And don’t grumble(B) as some of them did,[b](C) and were killed by the destroyer.[c](D) 11 These things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our instruction,(E) on whom the ends of the ages[d](F) have come.(G)
