1 Corinthians 1:19-21

19 For it is written,
“(A)I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
And the cleverness of the clever I will set aside.”
20 (B)Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of (C)this age? Has not God (D)made foolish the wisdom of (E)the world? 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, (F)the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, (G)God was well-pleased, through the (H)foolishness of the [a]message preached, to (I)save those who believe.

20 Where is the wise person?(B) Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age?(C) Has not God made foolish(D) the wisdom of the world? 21 For since in the wisdom of God the world(E) through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save(F) those who believe.(G)
