7 I will establish his kingdom forever, if he resolutely observes My mitzvot and My ordinances as at this day.’ 8 Now therefore, in the sight of all Israel, the congregation of Adonai and in the hearing of our God, observe and seek all the mitzvot of Adonai your God so that you may possess this good land and may bequeath it to your children after you forever.
9 “Now you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve Him with a whole heart and with a willing mind; for Adonai searches all hearts and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you. But if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.

7 I will establish his kingdom forever if he is unswerving in carrying out my commands and laws,(A) as is being done at this time.’
8 “So now I charge you in the sight of all Israel(B) and of the assembly of the Lord, and in the hearing of our God: Be careful to follow all the commands(C) of the Lord your God, that you may possess this good land and pass it on as an inheritance to your descendants forever.(D)
9 “And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion(E) and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart(F) and understands every desire and every thought. If you seek him,(G) he will be found by you; but if you forsake(H) him, he will reject(I) you forever.
