⁶Moreover, Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests sounded trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.

⁷On that day then, David delivered for the first time this psalm of thanksgiving to the Lord into the hand of Asaph and his brothers:

⁸Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name;
make known His deeds among the peoples.

⁶and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests were to blow the trumpets regularly before the ark of the covenant of God.

⁷That day David first appointed Asaph and his associates to give praise^(A) to the Lord in this manner:

⁸Give praise^(B) to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations^(C) what he has done.
